Making my way

knit with Yarntini's sport weight yarn in the "Luxury" colourway, bought a while ago from Pure Knits. They're sold out, but I'm hoping the few skeins I placed a special order for will turn up soon! I loooovve this yarn. Squishy, and great colour. Obviously, they are an homage to expensive Burberry items and will be worn with a brown corduroy skirt and loafers.
And, because I needed to jump on the band wagon, a Le Slouch from Wendy over at Knit and Tonic:
Something went a little awry when decreasing and so I have some, er, mounds at the crown, but I like it. Next time I make one, I think I will do a little less slouch. I have less neck than I like to imagine. And no, I don't always look so ghostly, but I'm extremely fair skinned in the winter, and I've got the lights on on our makeshift photo booth here at work. Without the lights, the poor camera strains.
There's also a bunch of new stuff up at the shop so please take a look! I've started dyeing up some incredible 50/50 silk/meino laceweight yarn, and selling them pre wound into center pull cakes of 500 yards apiece:
colourway "Elvish"
and just put in three new braids of merino/tussah silk roving. I adore this stuff, and have a hard time putting it up for sale. I could sleep in this stuff.
"Drift"
"Amelia"
"Bohemia".
I'm slowly starting to take notes, so the top two rovings, "Drift" and "Amelia" are repeatable colourways. "Bohemia" is not--but I like it, so I'll have to try to reproduce it.
