Lately I've been thinking a lot about Elizabeth Zimmerman's saying: "Knit on with confidence and hope, through all crises". Although, I think her quote would be a lot more apt if I actually had time to knit. I *have* been knitting, though not as much as I need or want to, right now, and a sweater knit on size 2 and 3 needles a half hour at a time doesn't really provide much blog fodder.
I would just like to say, that, if I was knitting all my stress out, by now I would have three sweaters, four scarves, five pairs of socks, a couple of shawls, and a dozen hats. Instead, I have an overdrawn bank account, my house is trashed, I have half-finished orders everywhere, and my yarn seems to be replicating itself. (now if it would just figure out how to wind itself, I'd be really happy.)
so, let me distract you with new yarn for sale in my Etsy shop!

PERSIMMON superwash merino sock yarn

AUTUMNAL handspun superwash merino yarn. This was spun from roving dyed by FatCatKnits, also on Etsy. Her shop, along with Vedabliss (Funky Carolina), and Spindlecat Studio, are the three sellers I buy from on a regular basis. Actually, we all shop each other's store frequently, which is awesome.
So go, knit, buy. And keep warm! It's freezing today! (yes, I live in Oakland, California, so I am aware that my view of "freezing" is different from, say, those in Canada or Michigan. Just go with me on this.)
